Meghan joined the Hospital Council following five years with
MarinHealth where she held multiple leadership roles, most
recently Director of Operations for the MarinHealth Medical
Network. Prior to joining MarinHealth, Meghan led a California
statewide patient experience survey and partnered with hospitals
across the country to optimize clinical outcomes. Meghan holds an
MBA from the University of San Francisco and is a Fellow in the
American College of Healthcare Executives.
T was previously the Executive Director of Business Development
at Marshall Medical Center in Placerville, where his duties
included government, media, and community relations. T holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a
marketing concentration from San Jose State University. He
is the founder and a member of the El Dorado Hills government
relations committee, served as a Board of Supervisors-appointed
member of the El Dorado County Economic Development Advisory
Committee, is a past chairman of the El Dorado Hills Chamber of
Commerce, and is active in many other community
organizations. His professional background includes
significant business development, marketing, and public relations
positions.
T formally joined the staff on December 14, 2015, assuming
responsibility for the North Bay, Northern Sierra, and Redwood
Coast sections.
Brian is Regional Vice President of the Hospital Council for the
Sacramento-Sierra, Stanislaus-Merced, and San Joaquin-Mother Lode
sections. In this capacity, he convenes several health care
stakeholder groups to improve issues such as emergency medical
services, workforce development, and mental health. He also
serves as a member of the San Joaquin County Health
Commission. The Commission oversees the Health Plan of San
Joaquin, a $1 billion Medi-Cal health plan.
He brings extensive experience working with elected and civic
leaders to his role at the Hospital Council. He was
previously Government Relations Consultant for Pacific Gas and
Electric’s Sacramento and Sierra divisions. Prior to that,
he was District Director in the District Office of House
Republican Conference Secretary John T. Doolittle (R-Roseville).
Brian holds a BA in Political Science from Brigham Young
University and an MA in Government with an emphasis on American
and California politics from California State University,
Sacramento. He also earned a certificate in Hospital and
Health System Leadership from the UCLA Anderson School of
Management. He served as the 2013 Chairman of the Rocklin
Area Chamber of Commerce, the 2012 President of the El Dorado
County Chamber of Commerce, and was named the 2009 Rocklin
Business Person of the Year.
