Throughout March, Hospital Council is meeting with Oakland city councilmembers and hospitals in Oakland to establish relationships and introduce Hospital Council as a resource and partner. Two councilmembers are new and were just elected in November. To date, dialogue has been positive and focused on mutual issues of concern, including the impacts of COVID-19, the rise of housing insecurity and homelessness, and behavioral health.
