This year, the Hospital Council conducted an overall review of its bylaws, as they were last amended in 2011.
Along with a legal review to ensure both compliance and alignment with best practices, the bylaws are being reviewed to provide alignment with CHA’s and the other Regional Associations’ where parity is appropriate.
The review has also provided the opportunity to look at some practical changes to the governance structure, which will be considered by the board in December and January.
