Jo joined the Hospital Council as Regional Vice President for the South Bay region in 2010. She previously served as Local Government Relations Manager at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital for six years. In addition, she spent five years as the Senior Legislative Aide for the Vice Mayor of the City of San Jose. She has 20 years of experience in government relations with a focus on state and local issues.
Jo serves on several healthcare and non-healthcare boards and committees throughout the region. She convenes meetings with member hospitals, elected officials, government agencies, and community partners with the goal of improving lives in our community. The Silicon Valley Business Journal recognized Jo’s accomplishments with a Women of Influence award in 2013.
Jo received her B.A. in Political Science and M.A. in Public Administration from San Jose State University. She also completed the Executive Leadership Program at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. Jo and her husband reside in Morgan Hill with their three children.
