On March 2, the Monterey Bay Section held its first section meeting of the year. Although the meeting was short, it offered a good overview of the legislation being considered this year. The other topic discussed was the governance structure of the California Coast Alliance for Health (CCAH), which is the county organized health system for the Monterey Bay Area. The hospitals are considering working with CCAH CEO on the development of a hospital advisory committee to the CCAH board.

Over the next few months, the group will work with their RVP to identify how and if this will be possible.
